Consultation and Humanitarian Projects
“H historical
conditions refers to ‘modernization’ and ‘modernity’
as the main environment in which people have been living, working
and trading for several hundred years. However, modernization
and modernity are no mere ideological products. They have been
the most important and most basic realities for people for a number
of centuries. Likewise, in China itself, they have, for one hundred
years or so played a pivotal role in social life and spiritual
evolution” ( a quote from a Chinese professor in language
and literature)
Yet a serious
flow of modernization is a phenomenon of estrangement –
some never manages to board the train that leads to better social
level. Some as noticeable in the West remain on the margin of
modernization and may only make it if they are assisted.
